Promise Indiana
Promise Indiana is a college savings account program for the following Indiana counties: Benton, Blackford, Dearborn, Howard, Jay, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Marion, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Whitley. Students must attend a participating elementary school in a county that has launched the program and parents ope na CollegeChoice 529 account. Accounts are seeded with $25 initial deposit, students can earn community matches and scholarship funding into the 529. The program is funded by Indiana Education Savings Authority (IESA), Lilly Endowment, Parkview Health, and coalitions of funders in each community.
