The Boston Bridge

The Boston Bridge is a collaboration between the city's Tuition-Free Community College Plan and the state's Commonwealth Commitment program. Students who meet requirements city residency and school attendance requirements of the Tuition-Free Community College Plan, finish their associate's degree in 2.5 years, will be eligible for tuition, fees, and small stipends at any UMass campus or Massachusetts state university. Students must not have more than 15 community college credits accrued, must maintain a 3.0 GPA, attend full-time, and commit to eligible bachelor degree majors. The program is designed to help students afford both community college and the final two years of their bachelor's degree at a four-year college.
